For surgeons who need maximum illumination in the most challenging operative fields, the IC HeadCam 25K delivers 25,000 lux of light — 2.5x the output of the standard model. 1080p recording, wireless control, full-day battery, and the same Bluetooth foot pedal system. Built for oral surgeons, implantologists, and surgical specialists operating in deep or narrow fields.
When 10K lux isn't enough
In deep socket preparations, subgingival implant placement, complex extractions, or any procedure where the operative field is narrow and deeply recessed, light is the difference between a documented case and a blurred one. The IC HeadCam 25K delivers 25,000 lux of illumination — 2.5x more light than the 10K model — ensuring your recordings capture every detail, even in the darkest surgical environments. If you routinely work in confined spaces or under high magnification, this extra output isn't a luxury. It's a requirement.
The same professional system, higher performance
Everything you'd expect from the IC HeadCam line is here: 1080p video, Bluetooth foot pedal, 128GB of onboard storage, 3–5 hour battery life, USB-C and Wi-Fi file transfer, a protective hard case, and a 1-year warranty. The difference is in the light. 25K lux means you can record cases in situations where the standard model would produce dark, underexposed footage. Your documentation will be clean, well-lit, and professional — every time.
Built for surgeons who demand more
This system was designed for operators who spend hours at a time in the field. At under 1.5 pounds, it distributes weight comfortably and doesn't compromise your balance or posture. The head-mounted design keeps the camera aligned with your natural line of sight — what you see is what you record. Use it for case documentation that builds referrals, teaching material for your CE courses, or malpractice documentation that stands up to scrutiny. One system. Multiple purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the real difference between the 10K and 25K models?
The only difference is light output. Both models record in 1080p Full HD, both have the same 128GB storage, same 3–5 hour battery, same Bluetooth foot pedal, same connectivity options, same weight and warranty. The 25K model produces 25,000 lux versus the 10K model's 10,000 lux. If you operate in deep, narrow fields where light is a challenge, the 25K's extra output is the deciding factor.
Does the extra light make the patient uncomfortable?
No. The LED output is directed precisely where you need it — into the operative field — and the head-mounted design means the light follows your line of sight. It's the same principle as your current surgical headlight, just with integrated camera capture.
How do I start and stop recording during a procedure?
Use the Bluetooth foot pedal. Step to start, step to stop. Your hands stay on the patient at all times. You can also control recording, light, and zoom from the connected device's screen.
The camera isn't in focus. What do I do?
This is the most common question we receive and the easiest fix. If the image appears blurry, switch to autofocus in the app settings, or use the manual focus ring on the lens until the image is sharp. Our Support page has a step-by-step video showing exactly how to do this in under 30 seconds.
Can I stream live to other devices?
Yes. The IC HeadCam supports Wi-Fi live streaming for patient education displays or telehealth. Live streaming requires the Studio Software add-on, available separately.
Does it work with Apple M1 computers?
The IC HeadCam connects natively to iPhone and iPad on all chip generations. For computer use, the app works on Intel-based Macs and Windows PCs. Apple M1/M2/M3 Macs are not currently supported for desktop operation — we're actively working on compatibility.
I'm a dental hygienist / assistant — can I use this?
Yes. Any licensed clinician who performs procedures they want to document can use the IC HeadCam. The system is designed for whoever is actually performing the procedure — that's the only person who can capture their exact field of view.
